AIR CDRE MS HUDA SHEBA O’ KALLYAN SCHEME

Air Cdre MS Huda (Retd), BD/3648, GD(P) was born on 01 April 1930 in Rajshahi. He was commissioned in Pakistan Air Force as a transport pilot on 12 December 1954 and subsequently joined Bangladesh Air Force after the liberation war. After serving for 23 years, he retired from BAF on 10 November 1978 as an Air Commodore. He commanded two air bases of BAF namely BAF Base Zahurul Haque at Chattogram and BAF Base Birshreshto Matiur Rahman at Jashore. Air Cdre MS Huda expired on 06 September 2018 at the age of 88 due to old age complicacies. He has donated a significant part of his personal property to help the distressed people through BAF Welfare Trust. In his honor, “AIR CDRE MS HUDA SHEBA O’ KALLYAN SCHEME’ is formed to serve the cause.

SCOPE FOR RECEIVING GRANT

The following institutions and members of Bangladesh Air Force within the geographical location of Bangladesh shall be used for service and welfare:

1. Providing financial support to meritorious students studying in Mosques, Madrasas and general education institutions.
2. Providing financial assistance to poor and needy patients undergoing treatment for cancer or incurable diseases in hospitals or clinics or health centers.
3. Providing financial support to deprived orphans, poor and needy children, women and men to establish them in the society.
4. Providing assistance to religious institutions, charitable organizations, old age homes and orphanages.
5. Providing assistance to orphans, poor and needy affected by natural calamities and epidemics.
6. Providing welfare assistance to serving and retired members of the Air Force and their families.
